SANDBANKS is a terraced bungalow that is part of the well-known cube houses by architect Gert Boon. SANDBANKS is located in the dunes next to the Sea Aquarium in the center of Bergen aan Zee. From the house you can walk via a beach entrance to the sea and/or to a pleasant beach pavilion/restaurant or look for a nice spot on the dune tops to watch the sunset. With great care and taste, you will immediately get a real holiday feeling at SANDBANKS. There are 4 small level differences in the L-shaped house, which gives it a very playful appearance. You enter the spacious kitchen with dining table, which is equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, induction hob, refrigerator, oven-microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and toaster. A comfortable and complete kitchen. Adjacent to the adjacent hall you will find a neat toilet.
A few steps down you enter the attractive living room with TV, (sleeping) sofa (easy to convert into a bed of 1.40 m1 wide) and patio doors to the south-facing terrace. A few more steps down you enter a hall with cupboard space, on the left providing access to the beautiful bathroom with toilet, sink and shower and on the right to the spacious bedroom with 2 Swiss Sense beds in a tasteful design. In the storage room, 2 steps lower, you will find the washing machine and dryer.
On the east side of SANDBANKS there is a small terrace and a seating area for the morning sun. Here you can continue to the main south-facing terrace.
The house is located in a fairly private location among the rosehips with a large lounge set and dining table. At the house there is free access to the parking lot that belongs to the Sea Aquarium and you can park 1 car with a special pass.
There is wireless internet. There is also the option to store 2 (normal size) bicycles in the shared bicycle shed.
